Reason

I chose to do my report on Antony and Cleopatra's romance because I thought it would be unique. I also found it interesting that both these powerful leaders would let their relationships influence them. Cleopatra's connection to Antony inspired her to align Alexandria, one of the most powerful cities in the ancient world, with a man going against Western Rome. I found their relationship intriguing because it was so monumental in the course of both Roman and Egyptian history.
